Access to Kyoto and Osaka with a beautiful japanese train

Starting from march 2019, the Hankyu Railways added a new beautiful train to link Osaka and Kyoto : the Kyotrain Garaku.

Inspired by the decoration of a Japanese traditional ryokan, each of the 6 cars will have a seasonal decoration, from autumn to summer with maple leaf, sakura, pampas grass, geraniums and plum blossom.

The train will ride between Umeda station in Osaka to Katsura station and Kawaramachi station in Kyoto.

The Umesa district in Osaka is well known for its huge shopping complex. In Kyoto, you can discover Kawaramachi district or change in Katsura to go to Arashiyama. Arashiyama is famous for the Togetsukyo Bridge and for the shrines and temples that are settled there. once there you can go back to Kyoto Station with the JR Sagano Line
