The JR Central and JR West companies offer the Ise-Kumano Area Pass, which gives unlimited access to JR trains between Nagoya, Ise, Toba, Shingu and Kii-katsura; as well as buses in the Ise,Toba and Kumano Kodo area, for five consecutive days.
So you can enjoy the Ise area, famous for its shrine dedicated to the goddess Amaterasu, and the Kumano area, listed by the Unesco for its three shrines and pilgrimage trails.
A child price (6 to 11 years of age) is available for this pass. Access to trains is free for accompanied infants aged 5 years or under.
Japanese passport holders can NOT use this pass.

Despite the fact that Railpass is quite expensive, the experience is great in pair with high quality with Japan railway system.\n\nWhat is a bit of inconvenience is a necessity to use paper card. It can be improved by implementing Railpass to Suica. Basically uploading the Railpass to the card.
Using the Jpass and sim card was really easy and worked perfectly while traveling all around Japan.
The JR Rail Pass was one of the best investments that my wife and I made for our month long vacation in Japan. It made travel between cities easy, convenient and comfortable. I recommend purchasing a JR Rail Pass to anyone who visits Japan for a week or more. The trains are comfortable often.
