Imadegawa Station is a subway stop on the Karasuma Line of the Kyoto subway one stop north of Marutamachi Station and one stop south of Kuramaguchi Station.

Around the Station

Imadegawa is located at the north west corner of the Imperial Palace (Gosho) and is close to Doshisha University. It is also just south of Doshisha University and Shokokuji Temple and very convenient for either place. Walk east along Imadegawa Dori to get to Demachiyanagi Station for the Eiden and Keihan lines.

Hotels Close By

The Kyoto Heian Hotel, the Palace Side Hotel and Kyoto Garden Palace Hotel are all to the south on Karasuma Dori. All are just a short walk from the station.
